About the Role
As a working student (f/m/d), you support our team in applied market research and the production of scientific deliverables for consulting and research projects. You help translate complex questions into testable hypotheses, select appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods, and produce clear, evidence-based written outputs for our clients. Your work spans economics, consumer and user behavior, market dynamics, and the use of AI in research workflows. You contribute to data collection and analysis, literature review and source validation, and the preparation of research reports, briefs, and presentations that meet high scientific standards.
What You Will Do
Support quantitative research, including dataset preparation, descriptive analysis, and basic modeling or forecasting tasks
Support qualitative research, including interview guides, coding schemes, thematic analysis, and synthesis of findings
Conduct scientific literature reviews on economics, consumer behavior, market dynamics, AI, and similar fields
Translate business and research questions into hypotheses, metrics, and research designs
Translate research results in a clear and decision-relevant insights for clients
Draft, revise, and proofread scientific texts, research reports, and method sections in German and English
Collaborate with subject matter experts on project work, client deliverables, and publications
What You Bring
Required:
Current enrollment at a state-recognized university for the full duration of the working student employment in economics, market research, business administration, data science, or a closely related field
Exceptional academic performance, demonstrated by outstanding grades or comparable academic distinctions
Native or excellent German and English skills, written and spoken
Analytical mindset, structured working style, and strong attention to detail
High reliability, self-discipline, and ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred:
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as interviews, focus groups, coding, regression analysis, time series, survey analysis, and similar empirical approaches
Practical skills in Python or R and familiarity with data handling and visualization
Experience with modern research workflows, including the use of AI-supported tools, citation standards, reference management, and the efficient use of scientific databases and academic literature sources
